Our objective is to provide our client's with services which enable a building to be constructed on time, within budget and to an agreed quality standard. We can acheive this on your behalf and provide you with a total or partial service. Project Management - full project management is ideal for a busy client or a client who is in a geographical location which is distant from the project. We will discuss requirements and arrange for all surveys, design and construction work within an agreeed brief and budget. Partial project management is more appropriate for a client who wishes to retain some involvement but requires professional assistance. The nature of the services will be agreed to suit the client's needs but may involve providing cost and programming advice and acting as Planning Coordinator under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations. Contract Administration - smaller contracts are often let on the basis of drawings and a specification, with the contractor submitting a fixed price tender to the employer. For more substantial projects, a bill of quantities is usually prepared, itemising the work in detail. We can prepare the tender documentation, advise about building contracts and obtain tenders. We can then visit site at regular intervals and monitor progress and quality and advise on payments to the contractor.We can undertake the same role for maintenance and repair work. Project Safety - Full consideration of health and safety aspects is essential on all projects. In particuular the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 have placed responsibilities on clients and contractors. We can advise you of your obligations and undertake the role of Planning Coordinator for clients. We can also assist contractors to undertake the role of Principal Contractor. |
