Architectural
Drawings are required for a number of different purposes. We have experienced architectural technologists who are used to preparing clear and accurate scale plans using a CAD programme. Drawings for Planning and Building Regulation applications - our starting point is the land survey or measured building survey. Having considered planning issues, we prepare drawings which show the proposal in comparison to the existing property and its surroundings. Our designs are attractive but buildable. We take into account the existing architectural style but also consider the likely building cost and practical building issues. We provide additional information as required in applications for historic buildings. In such cases, more detailed information is required. In addition to the information required by planning applications, we also prepare Building Regulations drawings, which demonstrate how the building will comply with regard to matters such as structural stability, fire safety and access. Land Registry Compliant Plans - The Land Registry require a lease plan for all new leases of properties that are over 7 years. to be compliant, scale plans of the property are required, showing the full extent of the lease area and a location plan. We can prepare this information including coloured edgings and any additional information that is required. Paper to CAD Conversions - We can manually convert paper plans to CAD by redrafting. This can be useful when older plans are to be used as part of a new design project. The new drawings will be dimensionally accurate layered plans produced with total accuracy. Space Planning - It is important to have the right amount of space. We can assist in providing more effective use of space by redesign and extension. We can prepare record drawings of the existing building which can be used to prepare internal plans. Accurate plans are very useful if a move to a new office is proposed or a redesign of existing offices. Plans can be used to show furniture layouts, fire safety and many other presentations. |
